Clare Progress To All Ireland Semi’s

Clare are through to this year’s All Ireland hurling semi-finals.

The Banner overcame Galway by 1-23 to 2-14 in their Quarter final at Semple Stadium.
 
Conor McGrath blasted in the Clare goal in the first half.
 
Johnny Glynn and Niall Healy got goals back for the Tribesmen after the break but it wasn’t enough.
 
The Banner County will now face Limerick in the semi-finals on August 18th.
 
Cork ended the reign of All Ireland hurling champions Kilkenny, defeating them 0-19 points to 0-14.
 
Henry Shefflin went off for a second yellow card on the stroke of half time.
 
It means the Rebels will face Anthony Daly’s Dublin in the other semi final on August 11th.
