Cratloe's Cathal McInerney is hoping to lead Limerick IT to Fitzgibbon Cup Glory this weekend.
The 4th-year Business and Sports Management student is one of nine Clare hurlers who will take part in the Finals weekend in Belfast, under the helm of Clare senior hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald.
The Limerick side will meet Waterford IT in Friday's semi-final and are high on confidence after their upset over UL in the last-eight.
Elsewhere, Limerick’s hurlers will be without David Breen for the rest of their League campaign because of a knee injury.
