Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed Frank Lampard will be joining the club on loan.
The former Chelsea star will play for the Premier League champions until January as he looks to maintain his fitness before making his first appearance for Major League Soccer side New York City.
Pellegrini says he'll be playing a full part in their domestic and Champions League campaign.
