The week got off to a lively start on Morning Focus with a chat about the lighter side of GAA and its little quirks and curiousities.

The show opened with a discussion of Brexit, now that the dust has settled on last Friday’s historic agreement and its practicalities begin to be examined. Gavin spoke with Deputies Joe Carey (FG) and Michael Harty (Ind.).

Afterwards, the talk turned to new regulations from Brussels which will dictate the direction in which farmers can plough their fields. Gavin was joined by Andy Doyle, Tillage Editor of the Irish Farmer’s Journal.

Then, Dep Seán Canney joined the show to discuss his concerns over his fellow Independent Alliance member Minister Shane Ross’s forthcoming regulation on drink driving.

After Garda Focus, there was as wide-ranging discussion of that challenges faced by carers. Gavin was joined by Ann Marie Flanagan, Rhonda Murphy and Catherine Cox. Listen back below:
