Heavy winds and rains have left homes across the Banner County without electricity.
The ESB’s power check website shows approximately 1,227 homes in Clare are currently without power due to inclement weather.
According to the utility 983 households in Ennistymon are predicted to be without electricity until 2:30pm
Additionally at least 80 customers in Ennis will be affected by the outages with an estimated power supply restoration time of 1:30pm.
While over 200 customers In Kilrush and its surrounding areas have been without power since 8AM this morning and their supply is not predicted to fully return until as late as 2:45pm today.
Met Eireann has issued a status yellow thunderstorm warning for Donegal, Munster and Connacht that will remain in place until 9pm tonight.
