On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Martina Durac who is the Artistic Director of the Ennis Book Club Festival. She discussed the launch of the 17th Ennis Book Club Festival which will take place on the 27th January. Martina described her excitement for the festival itself which will take place between the 3rd and 5th of March 2023. Martina mentioned the uniqueness of the event which is the only book club festival in the country. Book lovers all over the country flock to Clare for this annual event. The festival features many authors and poets and an additional programme of events for younger readers is also on the line up.
