Brennan Not Concerned With Banner Record Ahead Of Kerry Clash

The captain of the Clare senior footballers says his side aren’t concerned with their record against Kerry ahead of their clash this weekend.

The Banner will meet the Kingdom in this weekend’s Munster Football Semi-Final after victory over Limerick two weeks ago.

It’ll be the third time that Colm Collins side have met Kerry in in twelve months, with Clare losing out in the previous two encounters.

However, Gary Brennan says that’s not a consideration for his team going into the match:

Meanwhile Kerry boss Eamon Fitzmaurice is expecting a tough battle from Clare in Cusack Park.

The Kingdom last visited Ennis in 2014 when a strong second half saw them take a four point win at this stage of the competition.

It will be Kerry’s first competitive game since winning the National League title and Fitzmaurice says it’s a date everyone has been looking forward to
