Cillian Brennan will captain the Clare senior footballers for 2024.
The Clondegad man follows in the footsteps of his older brother Gary in taking on the role, as he succeeds Eoin Cleary who is taking a year out from the panel.
Kilrush Shamrocks clubman Stephen Ryan is vice captain for the season ahead, with Clare having their first outing in the league on Sunday afternoon against Sligo in Cusack Park.
Manager Mark Fitzgerald says while Brennan and Ryan will officially fill those roles, they have leaders across the squad to set standards for the group.
