A Clare Auctioneer claims price fluctuation has proved a major barrier to developers hoping to build in the county.
New research from the Banking and Payments Federation has revealed that residential construction costs have soared by 23% since 2019.
In October, just three new homes were sold in Clare, for an average purchase price of €301,000.
