A member of the Clare minor football backroom team is hopeful the squad will have learned from their experiences so far this year as they prepare for the All Ireland Quarter Final.

Dublin provide the opposition for Seamus Clancy’s side who are facing into a 6th championship game of the season, having come through the Munster round robin series before losing the final to Kerry.

There’s no new injury concerns for management to contend with ahead of the game, as the Banner look to bridge a gap of 64 years since they last contested the All Ireland semi finals at the grade.

Selector Eamon Keane says having faced quality opposition like Kerry will mean they know the standards they have to reach if they’re going to advance.
