Clare LEO Supported Businesses Performing Well Despite Increasing Costs

The Clare Local Enterprise Office says some sectors in Clare are performing very well, despite the increasing cost of business.

It follows an analysis of insolvencies and general closures carried out by CRIFVision, which has revealed that a third of new companies across the country close within the first four years of existence.

The Head of Enterprise at Clare LEO says cash supports like the upcoming rates rebate will make a difference to struggling companies, but he’s warning that if they underlying business isn’t viable cash support will only buy the owner time.
