One of Clooney/Quin’s longest serving players is looking forward to fulfilling his dream of playing in a County Hurling Final.

Club and county stalwart Fergal Lynch will make his first appearance in Clare hurling’s biggest day since he started playing at adult level in 1999.

The 2013 All Ireland winner says success at club level would be extra special

Meanwhile Sixmilebridge boss John O’Meara says he has no concerns about his side handling the occasion on Sunday.

They’re featuring in a fourth final since 2011 and bidding for a third title in the last five years.

O’Meara says they’re playing the game, not the occasion

Throw in at Cusack Park on Sunday is at 3.30pm, live commentary here on Clare FM in association with O’Sullivan Hansbury Motors Kilrush Road Ennis.
