2013 All Ireland winner Cian Dillon feels tomorrow’s clash between Clare and Wexford has the potential to be one of the standout games of the hurling year.
The latest chapter in an evolving rivalry between the two sides will be written tomorrow in Semple Stadium as they clash in winner takes all qualifier tie.
It is a fourth meeting between Brian Lohan and Davy Fitzgerald’s teams in the last two years, with Wexford registering their only win in that time when they met in this year’s National League.
