Doras Worries Ukrainian Refugees Could Become Homeless Next Year

A Midwest migrants’ rights group has raised concern that refugees escaping conflict could become homeless in Ireland next year.

The cabinet this month signed off on measures for the weekly welfare rate for new Ukrainian arrivals to be cut to €38.80 and for state accommodation to only be provided for ninety days.

Over 5,000 Ukrainian refugees have now made their home in Clare which is the 6th sixth highest amount in the country.
