Clare has been granted over €108,000 for fourteen built heritage projects throughout the county.
Boston Cottage will benefit the most, receiving over €9,800 for thatched roof works.
St.Brigid’s Church in Corofin, Hector Street Mills in Kilrush, the Ennistymon Armsteads Building, Loop Head Lighthouse, Cranagher House in Quin, the Stone Slate Cottage in Miltown Malbay and Glencairn House will each receive €8,550.
There’s €15,550 in total funding for projects in Clarecastle between Barntick House and Manus House, while the Liscannor Slate Cottage, Scariff Workhouse Stone Building and the Killaloe thatched cottage are also set to benefit.
