An East Clare hotel has been has been honoured with the Best Employer – Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands Awardaward at the inaugural Fáilte Ireland Employer Excellence Awards.
The awards ceremony celebrated businesses who have demonstrated their commitment to making the tourism industry an appealing and rewarding place to work through participation in Fáilte Ireland’s Employer Excellence programme.
The Lakeside Hotel in Killaloe was one of over 170 tourism businesses registered to participate in the first intake of the programme.
Winning businesses at the awards ceremony held in the Guiness Storehouse in Dublin earlier this week were chosen based on employee feedback gathered through a survey of staff of participating businesses.
