The manager of the Clare U20 hurlers says getting to play in a Munster final is a just reward for the hard work his side have put in this year.

2-7 for Keith Smyth along with 1-1 for David Kennedy helped the Banner to a nine point win over Tipperary to set up a final showdown against Cork next week.

It will be the first time since 2015 that Clare will contest the final at the grade, with the winners of next weeks game also going on to the All Ireland final.

Clare boss Terence Fahy says they worked hard to ensure they were ready for the opportunity.
