Former Clare captain Tommy Guilfoyle feels the Banner are facing the form team of 2017 in next weekends Munster Hurling Final.
The Banner take on Cork in Thurles with the sides meeting in a provincial decider for the first time since 1999.
Clare continued their preperation for the tie with an internal game at the weekend which saw David McInerney make his return from a hamstring injury, meaning he is likely to be available for selection against the Rebels.
Guilfoyle says Cork’s performances to date mean nothing can be taken for granted.
That one starts in Semple Stadium on Sunday at 4pm
