It is hoped details of a management team for Clare’s Oscar Traynor squad will be announced this week.
The national competition returns this year following a break since Covid, with Clare having won back to back titles under Donie Garrihy’s watch prior to that.
Chairman of the CDSL, Jason Ryan, confirmed a Clare team has been entered for this season’s competition, with the management team to be unveiled in the coming days.
Clare FM analyst Jim Madden feels the competition has lost some of its gloss in recent years.
