There’s a double header of Allianz National League action to look forward to in Cusack Park this afternoon.

First up the Banner’s footballers can secure their place in Division Two when they face Meath, before the hurlers take on Dublin in the Division 1A relegation playoff.

It’s a 2pm start for the footballers, who have kept faith with the same 15 that narrowly lost to Kildare for this afternoons game.

Gary Brennan is joined at midfield by brother Shane, while Cathal O’Connor is named to start at wing forward.

After that the hurlers will be battling for their lives in the top tier when they take on a Dublin team that travel to Cusack Park for the second time in 4 weeks.

Clare came out on top after a tight encounter on that day, with Dublin bringing back in their All Ireland club winning Cuala contingent to their side for this afternoons game.

The Banner make two changes from the side beaten by Waterford with Brendan Bugler coming in at wing back in place of Jason McCarthy while David Reidy replaces Ian Galvin at corner forward.
