Lohan Names Strong Side For National Hurling League Opener

There are two debuts on the Clare team for Sundays National Hurling League showdown with Westmeath. 

Feakle’s Adam Hogan and Parteen’s Jack Kirwan will make their first competitive appearance under Brian Lohan in Cusack Park. 

Harty Cup winner Hogan is named to start in the full back line, alongside Conor Cleary and Seadna Morey. 

David McInerney is at centre back, with Diarmuid Ryan and Aaron Fitzgerald on the wings. 

Kirwan will be partnered at midfield by Cathal Malone. 

David Conroy will start at centre forward with David Fitzgerald and Robin Mounsey completing the half forward line. 

Peter Duggan is on the edge of the square with Mark Rodgers and Aidan McCarthy in the corners. 

Eibhear Quilligan wears the number one jersey.
