A man who was arrested by Gardai in relation to a €700,000 drug seizure in South East Clare has been released without charge.
A quantity of suspected heroin was seized by Garda personnel during searches in Ardnacrusha on Friday, which have now been sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
It’s understood a file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions after the man, who’s in his 60s, was released.
