The new manager of the Ballyea senior hurlers is praising the leadership of their main men in getting them back on track in the TUS Clare senior hurling championship.

A battling two point win over Clooney-Quin puts the 2022 champions back in the race for a quarter-final spot ahead of their final round tie against Eire Óg.

Jack Browne, Paul Flanagan and Tony Kelly all played key roles while Cian Kirby and Mossy Gavin were among those who struck for crucial second half scores.
