Sixmilebridge boss John O’Meara feels Cratloe will provide a massive challenge to them in Saturday’s Clare Senior Hurling Quarter Final tie.

It’s the second time the Garneyside neighbours have met in the last eight of the championship, with the Bridge coming out on top by a single point en route to the 2015 title.

Sixmilebridge beat defending champions Ballyea last time out to reach this stage, and are looking to win their third title in the last five seasons.

O’Meara feels a tough afternoon awaits.

Meanwhile Newmarket on Fergus will look to continue their resurgance when they take on the defending champions for a shot at the semi finals.

2016 saw the roll of honour leaders face Kilmaley in the relegation battle, and only secured their senior status after a replay.

Ballyea provide the opposition in Saturday’s quarter final tie, and Newmarket’s Colin Ryan feels it will be their toughest test to date.

Clare FM will have full live online commentary on clare.fm along with on air updates from of all this weekends quarter final ties in association with O’Sullivan Hansbury Motors Kilrush Road Ennis.
