Road closures will come into effect on the R470 between Newmarket On Fergus and Sixmilebridge next week to facilitate repair works on the overhead rail bridge.
Carra Plant Hire Ltd will be carrying out waterproofing and remedial works on the bridge from July 17th to July 24th.
The road closure will be in effect for 24 hours each day, however local access will be maintained for the duration of the project.
Traffic wishing to travel west on the R470 will be diverted onto the R471 at Sixmilebridge and traffic wishing to travel East will be diverted onto the R471 at Newmarket on Fergus.
