Sixmilebridge And Newmarket Ready For Clare SHC Semi Final Showdown

The line up for the 2017 Clare Senior Hurling Final will be completed this afternoon.

Sixmilebridge and Newmarket square off for the right to face Clooney/Quin in this years decider.

The neighbours met in the 2013 decider in a game which saw Sixmilebridge come out on top.

Bridge boss John O’Meara is expecting another tough challenge from the Blues once more

Meanwhile Newmarket have recovered strongly this season after being dragged into the relegation battle in 2016.

They’re unbeaten so far in the championship, but look likely to be without Niall O’Connor for today’s game after he suffered a broken hand.
