TUS Graduate Discusses Challenges Of Autism Ahead Of World Autism Awareness Day

On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by TUS Grdauate, Adam Cronin who is living with autism.

Adam discussed his autism diagnosis aged 14 and described some of the symptoms of autism that he recognised within himself.

He spoke about the various ways in which autism affects his life on a daily basis and highlighted the various aspects of events that he must assess before attending.

He made reference to the pandemic and the way in which it triggered a feeling of loneliness in his mind, which inspired him to join various social clubs.

Adam highlighted his recent success of graduating from college boasting a degree in Finance & Accounting. He also reflected on the positivity he feels from starting his own blog ahead of World Autism Awareness Day which is set to take place on Sunday 2nd of April.
