Two Clare Students Honoured With National Media Award

Two Clare students have been honoured with a prestigious national award.

The ISIC National Student Media Awards, which celebrate the outstanding achievements of students in media-related fields across the country, took place last night at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

NUIG took home seven awards, with TCD following closely behind with six. Technological University Dublin scooped five, while University College Cork and University of Limerick both won four awards.

Clarecastle-based Mary Immaculate College student and Clare FM Broadcast Journalist, Daragh Dolan was presented with an award for Radio DJ of the Year, for his work in student radio, along with Ennis-based fellow student Jake O’Loughlin.
