It's day five of power outages for Clare ESB Customers cut off since Wednesday as a result of Storm Darwin Damage.
Around 1000 people remain off the grid this afternoon, with isolated faults affecting pockets of the entire county.
The National figure stands at around 25 thousand, with some rural areas in other parts of the country facing outages until next Thursday.
Seamus Grey is the ESB Production Support Manager for the MidWest and says clearing isolated faults is a slow process.
