More than 3,200 Ukrainians are now being provided accommodation by the State in county Clare.

Figures released to the Oireachtas by Integration Minister Roderic O’ Gorman show 3,266 people from the war torn country are being provided with roofs over their heads by the Government.

It’s a total that’s only bigger in three other counties – Donegal, Dublin and Kerry.

More than 40,000 Ukrainians are currently in State-backed accommodation across the country, with more than 51,000 now in Ireland in total.
