49 patients have been left waiting on trolleys at the region’s main hospital as a fresh week begins.
The latest figures from the INMO show that 24 were on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, with a further 25 being catered for in overflow areas of wards.

It means the Dooradoyle facility is once again the most overcrowded facility in the country; some 14 ahead of the next busiest hospital.
