Over 70 council housing units were unoccupied in Clare throughout the first six months of the year.
New figures released to Aontú show that a total of 3,500 council homes were left vacant between January and June.

In the MidWest meanwhile, 228 local authority units were vacant in Limerick , with a further 112 unoccupied in Tipperary.
Approximately 71 council houses were empty in Clare , while 2,844 households were on this county’s social housing list at the end of June.
