Agreement reached on Vietnam Adoptions

Adoptions of children from Vietnam are to resume almost immediately after a new agreement was signed in Dublin today.

It’s good news for 18 families who were on the brink of an adoption three years ago when it was suspended, pending the ratification of the Hague convention.

And another 200 families have also progressed through the system so that they could soon adopt a child from Vietnam.
