AIB could be set to outsource as many as 1000 jobs, perhaps outside of Ireland.
The Irish Independent reports that the state-owned bank plans the move in a bid to up efficiency and reduce costs.
However, a spokesperson for AIB has told Clare FM that this is not a foregone conclusion and that the proposal is being considered.
