Over 90 Clare events have received funding as part of preparations for The Gathering festival this year.
Clare County Council is to fund 26 events not among the 67 festivals and gatherings this year which have been allocated moneys under the €2m euro IPB Gathering Fund
These include the county’s three flagship events, as chosen by the Clare Gathering Steering Group – they are the Love Live Music event in Ennis, a Tolkien Convention in North Clare and a Conference on the Therapeutic effects of Irish Music on the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease, to be held in Feakle.
