Almost A Quarter Of All Patients On Trolleys Presented At UHL

Almost a quarter of all admitted patients waiting for beds at Irish Hospitals today presented at University Hospital Limerick.

The latest trolley watch analysis from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there were 108 patients on trolleys at the region’s main hospital during morning rounds.

The overall figure represents a rise of 8 on yesterday’s figure and is more than double the next busiest facility.
