A national day of protests against water charges and austerity will take place this afternoon.]#
The protests are part of a sustained campaign planned for the weeks coming up to the General Election and will include another demonstration on the last Saturday before the Election.
The rallies, organised by the Right2Water Campaign, will be held in over 30 locations nationwide, including at the City Hall in Limerick at 2pm.
