A number of apartments in Ennis were evacuated for a short time last night due to a fire.
Authorities were alerted at around 8:00 after a cooker caught fire in a flat at Millstream Court on the Mill Road.
Three units of the fire service from Ennis attended the scene, and the blaze was quickly brought under control.
It’s understood a number of adjacent properties had to be evacuated as a precaution but no-one was injured.
