From the end of October, one of it’s two daily flights will depart London at an earlier time to avail of pre-clearance.

The second daily flight each afternoon will see the 32 seat Airbus plane continue to refuel at Shannon, but customers will not benefit from the service which allows them clear US customs on this side of the Atlantic.

British Airways says the luxury flights continue to be a success, and Shannon Councillor Patricia McCarthy hopes they’ll be able to fully utilize pre-clearance in the near future.
