There’s some good news for Clare parents waiting on the Back to School Allowance
Waiting times for payments have been considerably reduced in the past few weeks – It follows the appointment of extra staff in the Mid West to deal with the backlog- which was up to a month long –
However Clare TD and Minister Tony Kileen says all eligible claims for the allowance will now be processed in the next fortnight as waiting times have been cut from 30 to 10 days.
To date almost four million Euro has been paid out to families in Clare Limerick and North Tipperary
