Families across the banner county are being reminded to recycle waste generated over the festive period.
Batteries, packaging, jars, cans and wrapping paper are among the items which will be disposed of this Christmas, and officials are urging people to look after their environment when they do this.
People are asked to use appropriate recycling facilities, and to ensure that the waste they put in here has been prepared correctly.
