Clare County Council says it’s supportive of a proposal to one of Europe’s largest outdoor exhibitions to the Banner County.
Local representatives have agreed to support a proposal which could see the National Ploughing Championships held in Clare in the coming years.
Such an undertaking would require around 700 acres of tillage land, for which Clare is not known, but representatives of the ploughing communitee say they’re hopeful the event could be accomodated at a site near Dromoland.
