A body has been found in Lough Corrib in Co Galway, following a major search for a missing fisherman.
The missing man's empty fishing boat was found yesterday morning, near Oughterard.
That prompted a search of the lake involving the coastguard, Gardai, and community members.
The body was discovered this afternoon near Camillaun Island, close to where the man set out.
The Garda Underwater Unit recovered the body, which has been transferred to Galway University Hospital.
