Many in North Clare are without water today due to a burst water main.
Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore water supply to those in Lisannor, Derreen, Ballysteen, Moymore, Ballycotton, Carrowduff and parts of Kilshanny following the incident.
Expert water service crews have been dispatched and the works are expected to conclude by 6pm.
A traffic management plan is in place for the duration of the works and customers are advised that normal supply may not return until two to three hours after works have completed.
