Bus Eireann has confirmed it’s reviewing the future of it’s ticket office at it’s station in Ennis as part of an overall cost review.
A spokesman for the company has told Clare FM that the operation of all travel centres, particularly outside of city and main hub locations, are currently being reviewed and that this does include Ennis.
The statement goes onto say that customers in Ennis can purchase tickets online, through vending machines or from the driver.
The revamped Ennis bus station was officially opened in April of 2007, following works which cost almost 900,000 euro.
