Calls For Clare Farmers Affected By TB To Receive Timely Supports

The Irish Farmers Association has issued a call for Clare dairy farmers affected by tuberculosis to receive adequate and timely income support.

Senior IFA representatives have addressed the organisation’s Clare County Executive in Ennis in a wide-ranging talk covering topics such as TB payments, deer management and access to vaccinations.

TB amongst cattle is on the rise in Clare with the number of cattle with the illness – known as TB reactors – increasing by 61% to 1,084 last year.
