Calls are being made for an extension of radiology services in Clare.
At present the cat scan service is only available to in-patients attending Ennis General Hospital.
The service was shut down last September due to staffing concerns, with patients in Co. Clare travelling to Limerick to avail of services.
Clare Deputy Joe Carey is calling on the HSE to extend services to out patients.
