Sinn Féin's called for the Taoiseach and the Attorney General to resign, in light of the Fennelly Commission report published yesterday.

The report found that former Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan was not forced to quit by the Taoiseach and retired of his own accord.

Elsewhere, Fianna Fáil is considering a motion of no confidence in Enda Kenny, accusing him of spinning the report to suit himself.

Meanwhile, the Minister for Justice is being urged to deliver "root and branch reform of Garda policy", as called for in the Fennelly report.

Mark Kelly from the Irish Council for Civil Liberties says it's now time for Minster Frances Fitzgerald to act on her promises of genuine reform.
