There’s plenty of festive cheer in Ennis today, the last Saturday before Christmas.
The now annual pedestrianisation scheme sees O’Connell St. closed to traffic from today up to and including Christmas Eve.
Free parking up to 12 noon daily is also available throughout the county town over the weekend with free parking provided all-day at Cloughleigh car park.
Ennis Town Council is hoping this encourages Clare’s residents to back local businesses over the festive season.
