Fianna Fail’s Transport Spokesperson has been accused of creating the confusion and concern surrounding the separation of Shannon Airport from the DAA.
Transport Minister Leo Varadkar will travel to Clare later this month to officially sign the order creating an independent International Airport while the make-up of the new board will also be announced before December31st.
The new company will be debt free but Aer Rianta International will remain within the Dublin Airport Authority something, Deputy Timmy Dooley fears could spell disaster for Shannon.
However Clare Government TD Joe Carey has accused him of creating confusion says he’s disappointed that Deputy Dooley isn’t supporting all the other stakeholders who are backing the new plan.
